Electronic Security Technician

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain electronic security systems, primarily focused on CCTV, Intruder Alarm, and Access Control systems.
Conduct site surveys to assess security requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on security systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Collaborate with clients and team members to design and implement customized security solutions.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding security system operation and maintenance.
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and technologies in electronic security systems.
Requirements:

Must have a clean B driving licence, as travel to client sites will be required.
Previous experience in the installation and maintenance of security equipment, with a strong focus on CCTV, Intruder Alarm, and Access Control systems.
Solid understanding of electronic security system principles, components, and protocols.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and efficiently while collaborating in a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work schedules.
Relevant certifications and licenses in electronic security systems will be an advantage.
